Adjectives are one of the first things learners should master in Thai because they help you describe your day, your feelings, people, food, and everything around you.
Let’s learn some of the most useful Thai adjectives with example sentences.
ดี (dee) | good | วันนี้อากาศดีมาก (wan níi aa gàat d11 mâak) → Today the weather is very good. |
สวย (sŭay) | beautiful | ผู้หญิงคนนี้สวยมาก (phûu-yĭng khon níi sŭay mâak) → This woman is very beautiful. |
หล่อ (lòr) | handsome | ครูของเราหล่อมาก (khruu khŏng rao lòr mâak) → Our teacher is very handsome. |
อร่อย (à ròi) | delicious | ส้มตำร้านนี้อร่อยจริงๆ (sôm tam ráan níi à ròi jing jing → The somtam here is really delicious |
